We all have our versions of cooking the blessed Thanksgiving Turkey. No bag, in a bag, or the daring deep fried turkey. If I am in need of some hunky firefighters to show up on Thanksgiving, then the deep fried turkey could be a future option.
Personally, I go with the "Turkey in a bag" option, as I like how it locks in the flavor, and the cooking timing is perfect for how I juggle all the other dishes. Nor does the oven look like it went toe to toe in a juices and fat splatter fight.
This year I changed up my recipe (not my Nettie Stuffing Recipe) and I was thrilled how flavorsome and sumptuous this version was. Here is the oven-ready version.
